There are many eighteenth century Veronese and Italian masterpieces collected by the historic owner, Pietro Antonio Serpini, and still part of the artistic heritage of Palazzo Paletta dai Prè..

Renovated expertly from 2007-2012, the artistic masterpieces of the building begin with the gateway on via Arcidiacono Pacifico.

Attributed to Domenico da Lugo, the gateway shows the fifteenth century origins of the building. Along the staircase the frescos are by Giambettino Cignaroli and the sculptures are attributed to Lorenzo Muttoni.

The magnificent Salone delle Feste includes a huge canvas depicting “The Sacrifice of Iphigenia” by Pietro Rotari, and monochrome scenes from the Iliad and the Aeneid, with frescos by Giorgio Anselmi completed in 1765. The ceiling fresco is also by Anselmi, depicting “The Triumph of Juno and Athena”, nine meters from the floor.
